Think like a programmer. Build it. Test it. Debug it.
Your mission: Build a calculator in Scratch by choosing blocks in the correct order. Then test your program and unlock the next challenge.

This game is a planning and debugging bridge, not the Scratch editor. After each mission, pupils should recreate their scripts in Scratch. In Scratch, create variables named number1, number2, and result. Use ask [question] and wait, then set [variable] to (answer). For arithmetic use the green Operators blocks. Use say (join [Answer: ] (result)) for the output. The optional fifth mission is a debugging challenge.
Success criteria: I can sequence instructions, use variables to store input, select arithmetic operators, test expected outputs and explain a bug. Extension: Build a calculator that uses ask [Which operation?] and wait with if ... else logic; prevent division by zero. Use fictional numbers only; this site stores no pupil names or scores on a server.
